We want to help lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Below are some of the best next steps you can take here at Anthem to get involved, connect with other people, and grow your faith. Click on one of the links below to learn more about each.

community groups

At Anthem we believe that circles are better than rows. There is so much more to Anthem Church than just sitting in rows on Sunday. We think that circles, or Community Groups, is the best way to connect relationally and grow spiritually.

At Anthem we believe that “circles are better than rows.” That’s because we know life change happens best when we are looking at someone’s face and not the back of their head in a service. As a result of this conviction, we are committed to help people experience healthy relationships and spiritual growth in the context of our Community Groups.

SOME HELPFUL DETAILS

–  We offer College, Couples, Men’s and Women’s groups.

Short-term Groups

A Short-Term Group is sometimes the best next step for you to take that will help you grow in your faith journey. They are like Community Groups, but meet weekly for a short period of time and explore a specific topic.  Click on a link below to learn more about each short-tarn group we offer at Anthem.

Financial Peace University

This Short-Term Group will be focused on finances. We understand leaving a healthy financial legacy doesn’t just happen. It takes time, intentionality, and direction. This group can help you get out of debt, spend and save wisely, find financial margin, and discover Biblical principles about money. Groups are nine weeks and are based on the Financial Peace University curriculum by Dave Ramsey.

Baptism

Information

Who should be baptized?
Christians are people who believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation occurs only when a person places his or her faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for his or her sin.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are ready to be baptized. Just like a bride and groom show others their love for one another by wearing wedding bands, your baptism is your opportunity to show others that you have accepted Christ and are now walking with Him.

Be rich

“Command those who are rich in this present world to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.”   – 1 Timothy 6 17-18 (NIV)

We want to be a local church that is making a real difference in our community. As a result, we have partnered with a number of local nonprofit organizations that are doing great work in our community. Throughout the year we do a number of things to partner with these organizations; from food drives to generosity campaigns. Below you can learn more about these local non-profit parters as well as watch a video about our most recent Be Rich Generosity Campaign.

Our Local Partners

Food 4 Kids Backpack Program of North Florida

This incredible organization is working to identify chronically hungry school-age children in North Florida and deliver food directly to the them through backpacks they take home on the weekends.

Girls Place

Girls Place believes that all girls should be inspired, challenged and nurtured to become their very best by becoming independent women who embrace diversity, express their ideas, rise above obstacles, enhance their communities, and lead those around them. They empower girls to grow courageous, strong and self-sufficuent. They inspire them to celebrate themselves–their minds, their hearts, and their physical well being.

Sira

Sira believes the greatest gift you can give someone is hope. Each day, they invite women who are confused and hurting to share their story, a story they often feel they can’t share with anyone else. Many face an unexpected pregnancy or struggle with a past pregnancy decision. Sometimes, it’s an expecting mom or dad who feels overwhelmed and underprepared to be a parent or raise an additional child. Whatever their story, Sira is there to listen and to help.
